Dry pinto beans/baked beans

I want to make baked beans for a bbq tomorrow using pintos. I assume they will be ok for it. They are in a bag right now, dry. I was under the assumption that you were supposed to soak all dry beans over night before cooking but there are no directions as such on the package (ie for beans stewed with ham hocks and onions). Do you not soak these?
