I posted below looking for a nice place for a birthday lunch for my mom. I ended up at the Dry Dock for dinner early last Saturday evening, since nobody fancy serves lunch, and Brome Howard had a private event.
The food was good, and the prices were reasonable. Service was very friendly and well-paced. We sat outdoors and the view of the marina was hypnotically tranquil. We had a good time and my mom really dug it.
They serve pretty ordinary good food, superbly prepared. We had steamed mussels, grilled scallops with cappellini, and softshells with polenta. Everything was cooked perfectly, except the asparagus which was a little underdone.
Thanks, Amy, for the recommendation. It was perfect for the occasion.
