Dry Creek Kitchen vs. Madrona Manor

Kim C | Mar 9, 200411:48 PM     4

I had to make a decision between the Hotel Healdsburg and the Madrona Manor. I was able to get a premiere room at the Hotel Healdsburg with the tasting dinner at Dry Creek Kitchen for $300. I could get a cottage room at MM for $185 which is very good. They were having a winemaker's dinner that night for $89/pp.

Has anyone ever been to a Winemaker dinner at the Madrona Manor? I chose the Hotel Healdsburg because my husband wanted comtemporary over a Victoria feel for the lodging. Any opinions on the Dry Creek Kitchen or the Madrona Manor?

We have decided to have lunch at Chateau Souverain at the bistro, then the next day a possible lunch in Santa Rosa at Syrah and dinner at Cafe La Haye in Sonoma. Thanks for any opinons on DCK vs. The Winemaker's Dinner at Madrona Manor. I know they both are very highly rated. Thanks! ***kim***
