dry beans

minderelly | Jan 2, 201507:13 PM

hi there i have a tone i mean a tone of dried beans that i hardly ever end up using because of the time it takes to soak boil etc. before ever making the meal with them i would like to make up a bunch and freeze them i have plenty of freezer space. any tips or suggestions with the different types of beans. today i did a batch that had soaked over night then i put them in the crock pot and have let cook all day they are starting to soften should i freeze before they get to soft kinda like an al dente pasta also i want to make up some re-fried beans like you get at a good Mexican restaurant to freeze any tips or recipes?
