We're a relatively low key (but, I'd like to think, somewhat chic) foodie bunch. We tend to gravitate to the E Village, but are open to anywhere really below 14th. Luca Lounge would be good, but we can't count on the weather and the food isn't very good. Have done festive dinners with basically the same group at Il Buco, Elephant, 5 Points, Casimir, Sumile, and Spice Market within the past year, so don't want to go to any of those place. Am thinking Schillers perhaps or maybe Barbuto (I know about the mixed reviws on this board, but I like the look of the menu). We want festive but not childish. Somewhere that's not going to break the bank and isn't stuffy or trying too hard. Good drinks are a must and the possibility of outdoors is a plus. Am I asking too much? Also must be somewhere that will take a res. Would love some c-hound thoughts.
