I ordered this drink at a bar recently, and I want to recreate it. The recipe was printed on their website, but with no proportions or technique.
Alabama Old Fashioned
Maker's Mark, simple syrup, splash of water, and Jack Daniels floater
(the drink was also served on the rocks)
How do I know how much simple syrup. Is a floater just a shot poured on the top of the drink?
Also, the drink had a hint of orange to it. Would this be done by including some orange bitters?
The two posts linked below offered some clues, but I was hoping somebody could give me clear instructions.
