We're all familiar with dried fruits; recently in Chinatown I saw a package of dried sweet potatoes! The package says the only ingredients are sweet potatoes; it's unclear if the manufacturer uses a preservative. At only $1.19 for a 10oz package, I scooped up a pack.
They taste just like wonderful sweet potatoes. I finished the last of the package on a hike. What a great value. Sports bars each cost more than a whole package of these sweet potatoes.
The Chinese manufacturer's name is not in English. The packaging is clear and green with white dizgonal lines. The lettering is in black and orange. There are several mispellings on the back of the package.
