Dried persimmons

I've been on a persimmon kick after tasting them for the first time in Korea this past winter. I believe they were the hachiya variety -- they were completely ripened, very dark and mushy... very sweet as well. I bought dried persimmons later at a grocery store and they were okay, but it looks like the super ripened ones are hard to come by, so I guess I can settle for the dried ones... but where can I get them in New York City? Are they still available this time of the year?
