Dressing up bake sale items

Anne | Oct 12, 200701:42 PM     2

My husband & I are chairing our church's bake sale, to be held the 1st weekend in November. We've got donations of baked goods lined up, and I've got plenty of recipes for good-sellers that I'll be making. But I hate bake sales where the goodies are laid out on white paper plates and covered in plastic wrap. I'm looking for ideas to "dress up" cookies, muffins, cupcakes, rice krispie treats (I hate 'em, but they SELL!), etc. We chaired this event last year, but it was just before Halloween, so it was easy---"Monster Munch" in Halloween-themed zipper bags, for example. What are some ways to INEXPENSIVELY "add value" to my baked goods? Thanks!
