All Dressed

The city is French but when it comes to Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, every MTLer knows what All Dressed means. I've never heard the expression used for Pizza before, as "Roman" below mentions (Montreal Pizza??? I still have never heard of this before... anyways.. it means all the fixings... but show me Montreal pizza...), this All Dressed -- with the real MTL twist?? -- may be unique to Montreal or Quebec?? but anyway they typically apply a good heaping amount of "cole slaw" of more simply some very thinly sliced cabage w/vinigar to your hot dog.... and I was suprised to find a place on St. Catherines East (East East) called Jerry's that serves their grilled burger with cole slaw (w/ carrots no raisons or cream), THAT IS, not on the side but INSIDE, along with the onion, tomato, relish, etc. etc. which makes for a very tasty, juicy burger... The best hot dog I've had in MTL is the All Dressed like this w/a "toasty bun" at Roi on Ontario St. near Pie IX.
