I'm traveling to Nashville for Zac Brown band music festival Sept 21-22. We plan on a Friday night dinner out and a Sunday brunch on the way back to Cincinnati, Ohio. We are staying downtown at the Hampton Inn close to Riverfront park. The dilema is this: Out of the 6 of us, 3 of us are non-foodies and would balk at more upscale restaurants. (I would love to go to Arnolds, but they wouldn't like it.) Their preference is O'Charleys or Applebees anyday.
So are there any reccomendations that would make everyone happy? For example, the 6 of us travelled to Louisville, KY and I researched day and night to find Doc Crows. Perfect! Slightly casual, still nice, local, and GREAT food.
We don't mind walking to get to restaurants and want to stay downtown. Still want a nice restaurant experience, no diner stuff, but local restaurants preferred. 10-20 bucks for entree. Steak/seafood/bbq type place for dinner. Any fun brunch place is fine. No kids. All carnivores.
