Downtown Burritos

9lives | Jun 4, 2003 11:24 AM

After the recent decline in my former favorite, Real Taco, I'm on a quest to find good Mex within a short walk of the financial district. Yesterday I tried Tequila Mexican Grill..on Bromfield St. The decor is not much..along the lines of most Chinatown places, but the food was great. I had an enchilada plate, that could have fed 2..but fed 1. Everything looked good, great salsa bar..plenty of heat. There is a Salvadorean style I'm guessing the owner is was too busy to talk to him at about 12:30, but I got my food pretty quickly..a few tables but mostly take out. Next time, I'll try the burrito.
