downtown austin with a baby and (possibly) no car

emkay | Jun 11, 2004 09:46 AM

going to be staying in downtown austin for about 2 days with an 11 month old. obviously i'll need a car if i want to get down to lockhart or anywhere like that (how long of a drive is it to kreutz?), but what about austin proper?

are there any places with worthwhile food where the infant set are known to hang?

also, i was reading through the chron's best of and noted that madam mam's was called the best thai in the US. that's a pretty serious boast. has anyone been to sripraphai here in new york or lotus of siam in vegas for comparison?

oh yeah-- do places deliver dinner in downtown?

thanks
