$180 for 4 bought us 2 bottles of Penfold Shiraz/Cab. combo., one very large glass of sangria, greaseless tasty non rubbery calamari w/2 sauces (the anchovy one is great with the fries as well: hang on to it), a nice size order of mussels in a fresh fennel/tomato broth, a large bowl of chowder (very, very tasty), a rib eye entree with mashed & veggies, a pork cutlet (2 of 'em) entree w/arugula, tomato and onion salad, a sea scallops with orzo entree, a very large chopped salad, a large cone of fries, an espresso, a double espresso, a coffee, a capuccino, a banana chocolate tart, a large slice of raspberry cheesecake, and a large chocolate cupcake (from the bakery, not the menu, and they charged only the $1.75 take out price) with chocolate icing. We're in love with the place. Spacious, gracious, non pretentious, friendly beyond belief, great jazz playing (first on tape, then a live performer on keyboards) & a bar area just made for hanging out and meeting people. Thanks to everyone who gave us the heads up on this gem. We're all ridiculously full & my guess is that, if we werent the pigs we were tonite, this is the perfect mid-range place that never opened on Smith St.
