Seems to have gone downhill

I've enjoyed this restaurant many times before and have always been impressed with the food and service, so I'm sad to have to report a poor experience with the food this past weekend. Our group went in for appetizers, ordered a dozen oysters (3 varieties) on the half shell, stuffed portabella mushroom, lobster bisque, and clam chowder. We tried to order our favorite dish, mussels in a Thai curry coconut broth, but it's no longer on the menu. (sob!)
Two varieties of the oysters (Fanny Bay, Malpeque) tasted bland, looked flat and somewhat dry. I've never had disappointing oysters there before. The third type, Hama Hama, were good, but for $25 we would like all 12 to be delicious.
The stuffed mushroom was sitting on a bed of spring mix lettuce, but it had been placed under/near a heat source (the server warned me of the plate being hot), so the lettuce was completely wilted and some leaves were even crispy. The artichoke/spinach stuffing tasted like it came from a jar.
Lobster bisque and clam chowder were both good. Cocktails were good too.
I seem to recall being served bread on previous occasions, but none was brought to our table.
Service was somewhat slow, probably because we were eating in the bar area and they had the one poor bartender making drinks for the whole restaurant and doing table service as well.
I hope others have a better experience.
