Much to my delight, we are moving into a new house in July with a much bigger, nicer kitchen than our current setup. For the first time, I'll have a Jenn-Air cooktop with downdraft venting and a double wall oven. The oven, however, is about 10 ft from the cooktop and its vent.
Tell me, those with such a setup: How do you vent smoke coming from the oven? Some of my cooking (high-heat roast chicken, pizza at 550F) produces a fair bit of smoke!
