Last night, I ate at Douzo - a little "birthday" get-together of 10 people for a visiting friend. I ordered the Sashimi Dinner and implored a buddy next to me to share it. He declined, ordering the Sushi Dinner instead. After what seemed to be eternity (they don't have to cook anything afterall), our food finally came out and I was truly astonished! My Sashimi Dinner at $28 was a much better value than the paltry Sushi Dinner at $24. Shockingly, the sashimi dinner had about 22 huge chunks of deligthful sashimi (28 if you count the sweet egg and imitation crab). Equally but conversely shocking, the Sushi dinner only consisted of 10 pieces nigiri sushi (with anemic looking slices of fish) along with an offensive side of California rolls (offensive because he was promised 16 pieces of sushi and really only got 10). I must've had nearly 5-6 times as much fish as my buddy who was paying only $4 less than me. I gave him a few consolation pieces of my bountiful sashimi. If you like sashimi, you should definately opt for the Sashimi Dinner because it's the best deal in town. In fact, too good to be true - especially alongside the Sushi Dinner which was contrastingly a big rip-off.
