Anyone Know Dough-Joe Pizza Steels and Stones?

DuffyH | Oct 26, 201408:17 AM     23

So I was updating my Christmas list this morning. What? You don't do that? Anyway, I decided to see if there was any competition to the Baking Steel, which is a bit spendy for me. And how silly is it that it's either them or a local machine shop?

I found Dough-Joe. Great prices on pizza steels. The "Shogun" 15x15x⅜" steel comes to ~$76, delivered to me in Florida. The similar Modernist Cuisine version of the Baking Steel is $105. I haven't checked with the machine shop that fabricated our hood's chimney to see what they can do, but that price is looking pretty good to me.

So unless you people know of any reason not to, I'm changing my list. There are only 59 days left until Christmas. And now that you know what one of the items on my list is.... well... just saying. :-)
