Double Windsor, Park Slope

Recently went to Double Windsor on a Wednesday evening to meet some friends for a few beers and a meal.
It's a neighborhood bar/restaurant and I was absolutely amazed at how good the food is. We had the bacon mac & cheese, BLT, pulled pork sammich and a burger. It's a simple menu.
The BLT knocked my socks off. One of the best ever. They use some gourmet bacon and very tasty, crusty bread. Everything else was exceptional.
They were doing a French beer theme and serving flights of 4 types of beer which was a very nice idea. The beer drinkers in our group were pleased.
Nice ambience, not too loud.
It's a nice family run neighborhood place and it was packed on a Wednesday evening. They must be doing something right.
