I'm about to buy a new gas oven/range, converting from the very old electric one. I'm wondering whether to buy a double oven or a single one.
I live alone and cook in small quantities, rarely even using the oven, so I'm sure I'll never use two of them. What I usually use the oven for would be cornbread, baked chicken, frittatas. I wonder if a smaller oven would be more appropriate for the type of cooking I usually do. (I could use the lower oven for storage). I might use the oven more often if it warmed up more quickly.
My question is, how does cooking in a little oven compare to cooking in a larger one. I already have a tiny toaster oven that I use for baked potatoes, etc.
Looking for any and all advice and/or considerations.
