Dosanko Larmen: A Pictorial Essay

J.L. | Jan 17, 201512:51 AM

Dosanko Larmen is one of the oldest ramen chains in Japan. Their first L.A. location has opened in the space formerly occupied by Ramen-ya in West L.A.

Verdict: My bowl of ramen (deluxe white miso), while decent, was not very noteworthy. I thought that the broth was the weakest link (I'd rate it only one notch above the dreaded Tatsu's broth).

BUT - Definitely DO order the spicy butter corn fried rice - Damn good stuff! It makes this place worth the trip.
