Just wondering if there are any donut shops that make great glazed old-fashioneds anywhere near Danville. I'll be driving from Danville to Palo Alto, so anywhere along that route I guess is fair game...

Thanks for any info you can give me. By the way, I like my old-fashioneds crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I've had Stan's, which I appreciate for their crispiness, but find that they're not large enough to produce adequate interior fluffiness, and Lou's just didn't rank at all. I haven't found decent donuts in the Stanford area at all. My favorite glazed old-fashioned comes from K's Donut Emporium down in LA. Too bad I can no longer have my Sunday morning treat...
