Although I really enjoyed my peanut butter-glazed, banana-filled donut, I quickly realized there wasn't much special about it or their other donuts. Sure, they're square. And, cool, they're in the LES. But aside from the novel structure and combination of elements, they're barely a notch above Dunkin Donuts (which I kind of don't mind). For example, they're too chewy. Granted, I'm partial to the sour cream variety, but I can still appreciate a classic glazed. Had I had it fresh, perhaps my impression would be different. Nevertheless, not at all interested in going back. Especially at $2.50 a pop. In summary, give it a try. You can forget about it after that.
