Donburi in Adams Morgan -Report

Steve | Apr 2, 201507:24 PM

It's hard to argue with a cheap and delicioud dinner, and that's exactly what you'll get with Donburi, serving various rice bowls underneath DC Arts Center in Adams Morgan.

These are serious concoctions. The various ingredients are thrown together as you order, but they are very well thought out and carefully constructed. Thsi is a quick, Chow worthy meal for $10, and that includes tax. Leave a tip if you want. I got the katsudon, breaded pork cutlet, rice, jalapenos, pickled radish, some suateed onion. Not a revelation, but damn good. Everyone eats at the counter, and even if there's a wait it's not long. A must on the rotation of good places to know about.
