Dona Rossina's Cubano Pizza (Tampa)

andy huse | Jul 9, 200109:29 AM

One neat oddity is on Busch (north side) east of Busch Gardens. Dona Rossina's is in a strip mall and sports a simple menu. Chicken (marinaded and roasted), pasta, pizza, and baked goods.

Their small pizza (8" at $5) are "Cuban" made with a cuban/sourough-like crust. very good. They have larger "American" style pizzas that look good, too. Haven't tried their chicken yet, and i avoid pasta at restaurants. Good malted milk and fruit shakes. Very nice guava/cheese pastries and little sweet meat pies. Fresh bread, nice place for a bite.
