D'oiseaux sur la neige

Last night I had a less than stellar dinner at a bistro on the UES-- the meal was only rescued by my most favorite dessert in the world-- D'oiseaux sur la neige (Birds in the snow) sometimes called floating islands. Basically its egg whites with a hint of vanilla floating in a pool of custard. Sounds simple- but trust me, it's sublime.
The ones I had last night were great, in theory, but I wondered if anyone has been lucky enough to spot this on a menu recently.
