Dives for Mexican food in Palm Springs

Zoe | Nov 9, 200308:03 PM     1

Just had a great late lunch at La Palapa in the Foods for less shopping center on Date Palm Dr. at Dinah Shore in Cat City. There are two or three other taco
shops in the complex not tried yet but La Palapa was recommended. Great posole and densely flavored broth menudo with fresh tortillas. Also we each had a soft shrimp taco with shredded lettuce and Mexican creamy cheese which almost matched the Ensenado fish taco in Montello. Drank a fresh fruit milkshake, mango and mamey (mixed fruit) - very tummy satisfying.

A couple of days ago had a good Adabadbo (sp?) burrito at Villa on Ramon Road near Farrell. This is really a back room to the bakery and the food is just excellent - not too much ambiance but good cud.
