Dr. Biggles recently visited Dittmer's Meat Market in Mountain View and even got Dittmer hisself to give him a tour of the back room where the cold cuts are made and meat is smoked.
He did a first rate write up and there's pictures of the shop and meat and how it is made.

I had an excellent Easter ham from Dittmer's last year and the Good Doctor has pictures of a hook with freshly smoked hams hanging from it.
Besides the shop and the back room, there are pictures of

I almost licked the screen the meat looked so tasty. Anyway I have his permission to link to the site and inspire you all with Dittmer's delicousness.
Just a reminder that Dittmer will smoke any meat or fish you bring there. Also, they will custom-make sausages to your specifications. There is a minimum order. If you don't have a recipe for some exotic sausage, Dittmer will use one of their own.
One of my favorite cold cuts at Dittmer's is the Chicken Schinekenwurst which is slightly peppery with a touch of cinnamon.
