Disneyland - the happiest place on earth - if you don't eat!

Hmmm. Who said the corndogs at the end of main street were good? They were lousy. The hot dog was barely warmed through, the batter didn't taste the least bit like cornbread, but if I took it off and wrung it out like laundry, I would have gotten about 1/4 cup of oil out of it. Appalling. It makes hot dog on a stick taste like gourmet fare - they know its not fancy but at least they do it right.

Onto the Bengal BBQ - those skewers are terrible. Tiny, overcooked, overpriced meat drowning in a sauce that is either sickeningly sweet or insanely salty (and not really spicy). I guess to encourage patrons to spend even more money on multiple drinks to dilute the food equivalent of the dead sea. The breadsticks were ok, and only ok.

I wish I'd noticed before too late the stands that sold cut up fruit and vegetables, but my husband, after eating 2 meals at the park, said the produce was likely fermented or moldy, with the good side up facing the customer.

The food wasn't just bad - or I wouldn't have posted, because I don't expect anything from food in theme parks. Except not to get sick, which I did. I had a stomache ache following lunch and throughout the remainder of the day.

Take your kids to Disney - have a blast. Just bring your snacks from home!
