Welcome to the voting thread for the Home Cooking Dish of the Month (“DOTM”) for December 2019. The purpose of this thread is to cast votes to choose a dish that we all can cook and report on during the month of December.
Big thanks to everyone who participated in the nomination thread for December. We nominated 18 different dishes. You can view the entire nomination process here, https://www.chowhound.com/post/dish-m....
The two dishes that garnered the most nominations were Coq au Vin and Latkes. We will be voting between them to select our December 2019 DOTM
To Vote for your preferred dish, please click on – i.e., “heart” – the post below identifying the dish for which you’d like to vote.
**Only one vote per person, please.**
If you participate in the Voting, please plan on trying to prepare the selected dish at least once during December (although we know that stuff happens and sometimes the best-laid plans go amiss).
Please reply to this original post instead of replying to either of the nominations, if you have questions, or want to discuss dishes, This will keep the nominated dishes together at the top of the page. Remember that clicking a heart won’t result in following a thread; if you wish to keep updated on new posts, just click “follow” under the title of this post.
If you’re new to Dish of the Month, or new to Chowhound, or if you’ve been lurking for a while, it’s a great time to join this series. Vote for a dish and join us in preparing and discussing that dish during the entire month of December.
Voting will be open until Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 5:00 pm EDT (2:00 PDT; 10:00 pm GMT.)
