DISH OF THE MONTH Conversation about Nominations

Conversation: Should we limit the amount of nominations?

Many of you brought up the issue of having too many nominations for February. We had Nine, and a few of you brought up the idea of limiting the nominations. If we did this, someone mentioned up to 3 but my thought would be 5. This is just a discussion to figure out if you wanted to do that before I opened a vote.

What do you think?
Should it be the most 3 or 5? Should we just allow all of the nominations? Do you have an idea you want to throw out?

We vary every month. and I think 9 or 10 is the most we've had.

Here are some pros and cons I've thought of for limiting:

1. It gives a better focus to what most people want

2. We won't have that much of a spread to be conflicted on what to choose

1. People participating in nominations might never have their voice heard

2. It could cause conflict, hurt, or turn others against each other

What do you think? Should we put this up for a vote?

I wanted to have a conversation about this before we put it up for a vote. Thanks for the input.
