Discovering something new: Sucanat!

Well, I've had it in my house for the past couple months, but this is my 1st time using it. I never gave it a chance until today because it looked so much like brown sugar, a substance that isn't very versatile. But it's not like brown sugar at all, and you can use it on anything, including drinks! I used it for a custard, and the flavor was nothing like I've ever had before. It tastes like malt-honey! It has a very luxurious taste to it. I love the stuff now!
