Packaged Foods

I just discovered Soofoo. They have it at Grocery Outlet too.

I had a really good salad at the Whole Foods salad bar on Gilman -- kale, something called "Soofoo" (that I had never heard of), and a tangy lemon dressing. It was so tasty that when I saw a bag of soofoo at Grocery Outlet I had to grab it. Just .99
It is sort of like a pilaf -- brown rice, grains and various pulses, and a bag of seasoning mix. I chose Mediterranean flavor but they have curry flavor too.
The great thing is that the grains and pulses together make a complete protein.
I cooked it in the rice cooker and it came out great. Today I'll add it to a kale salad and see how it goes.
