Getting a discount at some of our posted places. Utopia, Louie's, Windy City

Yimster | Nov 20, 200210:49 AM     1

A better deal at some of the posted places on the board. The San Francisco Chronicle has a free program for it subscribers called Gusto. Anyone who is a subscriber can request one for free. This entitles them to get anywhere from a 15 to 25 percent off restaurants who are members of Gusto promotion. There are at least four places that have posted on our board recently that will give a discount to Chowhounds who have a card. You can pay $35.00 for the card if you do not want gets the paper. I use the card two to three times a month. I have saved hundreds of dollars in the pass six months.

Here are four Louie’s California Chinese (San Francisco), Utopia (San Francisco), Windy City (San Mateo) and Sushi Zone (Oakland).

Utopia is already dirt cheap as it is. Think about another 25% off. Anybody can pay full price, but a Chowhound should be smart enough to pay less for the same thing. So anyone who get the SF Chronicle can request his or her card. You can check the Gusto.com site for all restaurants that takes part in this program in the Bay Area. I have also have used the card in the greater LA area.
