This restaurant was reviewed in the Post a couple of weeks ago so my friend and I thought we would try it out since it is close to where we work. The review said to go with the pasta and avoid the meat dishes. We followed part of that advice. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was the worst I have ever tasted. It was old, dry, (probably was thawed) no cheese, with just breadcrumbs between the layers and some mediocre tomato sauce.
They were also not very accommodating. They don't serve iced tea. When my friend asked for butter or olive oil to dip his bread, the waiter said they didn't serve bread that way and to just dip it in the tomato sauce that came with the eggplant. When he asked for parmesan cheese, they gave him some tiny, tiny plate with a little bit of cheese along with a spoon that was as small as a cocaine spoon.
Needless to say, we will never go back.
