Where to start with all that was wrong? First, what was right. Party of six. Lovely to have a round table.
Now to the bad. Service was slow. 35 minutes from order to salad course. Two of us ordered this: "Grass‐fed beef roast, turnips, cipollini onions, bacon, whipped mustard sour cream." Meat was stone cold. Returned and came back hot, but the turnips were raw. No onions on the plate. "Whipped mustard sour cream?" Even I can stir some Grey Poupon into sour cream.
Those who had other plates, including the pork chops, were not impressed.
The guy running the house tried to make things right, including voiding the roast beef on our checks. But you know something? That was nice but we would rather have paid for good food that we couldn't make at home. The reason you dine out.
None of us will ever go back. Too many other great options.
