after all the talk on this board about Pearsons bbq being the best in ny and how they supply rodeo w/ some bbq and b/c i live across the street from rodeo i figured i had to try it out. so i was went last nite w/ some friends. i ordered the bbq beef brisket and was really disappointed. it came in a decent sized portion on a plate w/ potato salad, corn and corn bread. however, the beef was extremely dry, not at all tender, and pretty bland tasting and required me to dip it in the cup of sauce for any flavor at all.
i dont know if this experience is up to par b/c ive read some pretty mixed reviews on this board, but given how much i was prepared to like this meal, it left much to be desired. though, the meals ordered by my companions (burritos, fajitas, etc) were not bad at all.
i'm guessing this is not a true pearsons experience.
