We ate at Ray's last Friday evening, after a long time away. The food had previously been very good. This dinner was very disappointing. I ordered the seafood and tofu soup. The broth was flavorless and the scallops and squid were too chewy to eat. It went back. The hot and sour soup was OK. Then we ordered a special -- flounder fillet with onions, baby bok choi, and "tomato". The fish fillet pieces were heavily breaded and tasteless. No onions. The bok choi was a teenager at least -- certainly not baby. Sauce resembled bad sweet and sour. The other dish (chicken with asparagus, if I recall correctly) was just OK. Given this experience, we won't be back. There are too many other really good places in Chinatown.
