Anybody seen the new issue of Washingtonian? They have a Dirt Cheap Eats guide. This is different from the Cheap Eats guide that comes out in the summer, I beleive. Even more down and dirty, 70 places I think in all. Kliman seems to be letting loose his inner Chowhound! LOL It's awesome. There are a bunch of places on there I know about, like TECC, La Sirenita, etc., a lot of board favorites. But others that I'd never heard of before ... China Bistro, Viet Bistro, Arax Cafe, a really cool-sounding Korean pastry shop. Also, it mentions some expensive places with great deals, like a cheapie two-course lunch at Restaurant Eve and a happy hour menu at Vidalia with wine flights and free charcuteire. Wish I could post a link!
