I've been hoping to get uptown to try these ribs and the pulled pork. The NYTimes review in today's food section was just so horrible! I can't stand too sweet sauces. For those of you that have been, have you read today's review and do you agree with it? Or is the reviewer being too harsh?
Please weigh in, especially on the sweetness factor and whether the ribs, brisket, meats, etc. have a true smoky flavor that is not overpowered by the sauces.
