I know there are a lot of BBQ players out there now in the N.Y. metro area. But my go-to place has been Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford, CT. It started with my visits to Dinosaur in Harlem, but once they built one in Stamford we began driving there instead from our Westchester County home. Just the other day I thought I would surprise my companion with some BBQ, so I took the half-hour drive to CT. and got a shopping bag full of take out. Usually their 'Sweetheart Deal for two': a full rack of tender meaty ribs with choice of 4 sides: we usually like the mac & cheese, collards, baked beans and cole slaw, along with some fresh baked corn bread. Can't leave there without a half dozen of their plump delicious Honey Chicken Wings, either. They pack it real well. We still have leftovers.
