i'm in a funk and am so not in the mood to cook, but WANT to (i'm sure all you CH'ers understand that nonsense, right?). so hubby (and 10yo dd) has made quite it clear what he/she wants by defrosting some nice petrale sole i got thursday from our local monger. so with that said, here's what i have on hand, can u please help me?
couscous, quinoa, fresh brussel sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, a few nice yukons (left over from my cauliflower/potato concoction of last week), brown, jasmine, and basmati rice. and of course i have a dizzying array of spices and herbs (fresh from garden and dried), along with citrus (limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruits), and plenty of alcohol! (maybe a white wine mustard sauce with capers...?)
