Three of us arrived at 7 pm last night with no reservations, waited about 20 minutes to be seated downstairs. We had the following items:
West Lake Soup - very little cilantro, ok flavor, not great.
Salt and Pepper Dungeness crab - still the best dish on the menu. Our friend was from NYC and couldn't stop raving about it.
Stuffed Eggplant, Jalapenos and Tofu in black bean sauce - my husband's favorite and excellent with white rice.
Seafood Clay Pot - Very good, but because we pigged out on the crab, I got to bring it home for tonight's dinner.
Large Pea Leaves with minced garlic - always delicious.
I also ordered the house special pan fried noodles to go for my kids. The service was good, with a change of plates after the crab assault. The waiter wrapped up all the leftovers and the take out and put it into a fancy take out bag. With tip it came to over $100, but we were stuffed and I have enough for half a meal today.
