Dinner for a Group in Oak Brook Area

Karen Wheless | Mar 22, 200412:25 PM

I'm planning a conference in May at the Oak Brook Hyatt. I'd like to take a group (probably 15-25 people) out to dinner on Saturday night. I was hoping to be able to find a restaurant with great food that could accomodate our group - preferably in a private room but it wouldn't have to be.

My first thought was Maggiano's (which was recommended in another thread), but their banquet rooms are only for catered meals - limited to a couple of choices and set prices. I'd prefer to order off the regular menu - between food allergies, diets and budgets, I'd rather let people have more choices. Maybe we could just eat in the regular dining room? I know they're very busy on Saturday night and I'm not sure they'd want such a big group.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm open to going outside Oak Brook, although I'd rather not drive all the way down town. But I hate to eat somewhere that has mediocre food just because they can accomodate our group.
