I had a great meal at The French Bistro in Milford tonight. Started with a glass of Lillet, then a fantastic salad of cold sliced medium-rare duck breast with frisée and a blueberry vinaigrette. Main course was house-made parpadelle with tender, flavorful, braised lamb shanks. Outstanding! I followed that up with a five selection cheese plate and finished with a warm pineapple tart tatin with vanilla ice cream and orange puree. Coffee was an expertly made espresso with a nice crema on top. This is my once a week place for dinner and for my money, its the best restaurant in the area.
