We had read the review on Wednesday on Cafe Pinot and decided to give it a try. We started with the lobster salad with passion fruit and pickeled japanese peppers which was very light and very well presented. We also had the crab cake which she spoke about and found to be equally as good. My husband went with the veal which was cooked perfect and had a great balance of flavors and textures,there was a white sauce as well on the veal that was outstanding. I went with the hand harvested Sea Scallops which were to die for. They were the biggest scallops I have ever seen. Extremely fresh and cooked perfect. They were served with black chanterelles and fresh garbanzo beans which I have never seen before. We shared a great bottle of Sea Smoke Pinot and skipped on dessert. Overall, we had an exceptional experience and the service and atmosphere were wonderful. We will definately be back for more.
