Dinner and Brunch in Cleveland and Cleveland Heights

Hey Everyone!
We will be arriving in Cleveland Heights a Saturday night in August exhausted from the airport and would love some advice on where to have dinner, close. We will have a car. We would love something cozy, definitely with wine, beer and/or cocktails, not too high end or expensive.
Sunday, we thought we would to go into downtown and need some advice on brunch. We would love cocktails, but it's not strictly necessary, and it could definitely be more high end, though it does not have to be. We LOVE a good diner. We will be coming in from LA, and since we have such great food here, we are really looking for someplace local and with a Cleveland feel, if that makes any sense. We eat everything, and would also love any recommends for classic bars. Thanks so much! PS- We would love to try some local beer!
