Dinner in Belfast & Dublin? - NOT Pub crawling, please

My 86 year old mother, her 83 year old cousin, my 58 year old sister and I will be visiting Belfast and Dublin (& Kilkenny) in April, 2010. None of us drink alcohol or smoke so eateries based on this atmosphere are not our choice.

We would very much like to eat local, good cuisine and don't mind if there is alcohol in the establishment, just prefer it not to be the focus of the evening. We're pretty conservative and do well in family oriented (with children) establishments.
