My friend is getting married at the city hall and have asked me to find a restaurant to celebrate after the wedding. The request is quite specific (read: nearly impossible) so I would really appreciate any help from fellow hounds.

Wants:
- Great view of the water
- Delicious food
- Up to 1 hr away from the city hall, no further unless it's really delicious
- Good atmosphere, not corporate (eliminates a lot of the embarcadero restaurants, especially at 5/6PM)
- We will be a small party of 6-8
- Bride and groom are very very adventurous with food but can be picky with food quality, which is hard for a waterfront restaurant!
- Wedding is in two weeks
- They are also definitely non-traditional and quirky (groom is wearing a tshirt with a tuxedo print) so different types of restaurants can work for them (casual/quirky/formal)

The only place i can think of that may somewhat fit the above is Murray Circle, maybe La Costanera. Any other ideas?
