The Dining Room at Ritz-Carlton - Recent Reviews?

Bill Hunt | May 16, 2011 08:36 PM

As we are in SF every month, we're always on the lookout for new fine-dining recs. We've done many, but certainly not all. I have been hearing good things about The Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton, on Stockton St. We are usually on/near Market St., but have not dined there. I believe that Chef Ron Siegal is still at the helm.

The Dining Room at the Chicago Ritz got great reviews, both in the "press," and on CH, but we were a bit underwhelmed, hence the impetus for my question. OTOH, the signature restaurant at some other R-C's has been excellent.

In CA, we have loved Michael Mina's, Restaurant Gary Danko, The French Laundry, Farallon and many others. Matter of fact, few have ever disappointed us.

Are there any recent feelings, or reviews on this restaurant?

Thanks,

Hunt

PS - seems that the CH forum has changed, and I cannot seem to find my old fav., "Search This Board," but that is probably just OE on my part.
